Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor Group Company Limited (Dongfeng Motor Group) announced on September 9 that it sold 123,782 vehicles in August 2024, which dropped 31.77% year on year. Of the vehicles sold in the past month, 36,362 units were new energy vehicles (NEVs), including 34,296 passenger vehicles and 2,066 commercial vehicles. Compared to that of the previous year, Dongfeng Motor Group’s NEV sales rose 15.26% in August.
