The company currently sells eight models -- ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, ET5 Touring -- of which the first five are SUVs and the last three are sedans.

It unveiled the ET9 in December last year and deliveries of the executive flagship sedan will begin in the first quarter of 2025.

By the end of July, Nio's cumulative deliveries since inception stood at 557,518 vehicles.

Nio is now gearing up for the launch next month of the first model of its sub-brand Onvo, the L60, a lower-priced, mass-market-targeted SUV (sport utility vehicle) that is expected to help it achieve higher sales.

The Onvo L60 made its debut on May 15 and is now available for pre-order at a price of 219,900 yuan ($30,340), including the battery.

Currently Nio's main brand models are priced at around RMB 300,000 to RMB 600,000 yuan.

Onvo will conduct a product launch of the L60 in late September, with deliveries to begin at the end of September, the brand's president, Ai Tiecheng, said in a live video broadcast on July 25.
