Great Wall's Tank brand launches Tank 300 Hi4-T hybrid SUV

The Tank 300 Hi4-T is the lowest-priced model equipped with Hi4-T technology, and this year's limited supply of 3,000 units has already been sold out.

Tank's early models on sale included the Tank 300 and Tank 500, both of which were initially offered only in versions powered entirely by internal combustion engines.

In the last two years Tank has aggressively pursued its electrification transition with the introduction of the Tank 500 Hi4-T, Tank 400 Hi4-T, and Tank 700 Hi4-T.

The Tank 300 Hi4-T is a hardcore off-road SUV with a length, width and height of 4,760 mm, 1,930 mm and 1,903 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

The Tank 300 Hi4-T is powered by a 2.0 L engine with a maximum power of 180 kW and a peak torque of 380 Nm, and an electric motor with a maximum power of 120 kW and a peak torque of 400 Nm.

The powertrain of the Tank 300 Hi4-T has a combined maximum power of 300 kW and a peak torque of 750 Nm.

The model is powered by a Li-ion ternary battery pack with a capacity of 37.1 kWh, supplied by Svolt Energy, with a battery range of 110 km and a combined range of 860 km on a full tank of fuel and full charge.

Tank brand sales in March, which include NEVs as well as gasoline-powered vehicles, were 17,312 units, contributing 18.9 percent of Great Wall Motor's total vehicle sales of 100,276 in March, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

Great Wall Motor sold 21,882 NEVs in March, up 66.34 percent year-on-year and up 78.34 percent from February.
