Shanghai (ZXZC)- Recently, Chery Jetour's first SUV model, the Jetour X70 and its variant the X70S rolled off the production line at Chery's Henan Intelligent Manufacturing Base. Positioned as a seven-seat mid-size SUV, the Jetour X70 will go on sale in the middle of 2018. 

The Jetour X70 is a simple and neat designed model. It features a black interior with silver chrome trims added in the center console and door knobs, looking more fashionable. Powered by a 1.5T engine, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, the X70 can deliver a maximum power output of 149hp and a peak torque of 210Nm.

As a vehicle brand targeting families with two children or large families, the Jetour new models' name will include three elements, Jetour, English letters and Arabic numerals. As is introduced, space+ will be a staple of Jetour's design thoughts. Jetour's new models will be based on the ipel platform and its production lineup will include SUV, MPV and new energy models.

Chery's Henan Intelligent Manufacturing Base covers an area of 761,333 square meters and has a building area of 350,000 square meters. With a total investment of more than RMB 5 billion, the base has a planned production capacity of 360,000 units annually.
