Lexus China sales grow 9.3% YoY to 9,943 units in February
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Lexus, the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor's luxury vehicle brand, delivered 9,943 vehicles in China last month, increasing 9.3% year on year. The monthly deliveries of its hybrid series reached 3,429 units, accounting for 34.5% of Lexus' total sales in China last month.
Thanks to the effective management practice and the image promotion, Lexus has kept a stable growth in China sales. Including 13,677 vehicles it sold in China in January, Lexus's cumulative sales in the first two months this year have already exceeded 23,000 units.
Two flagship models of Lexus, the all-new LS and all-new LC, went on sale on January 11, 2018, with prices ranging from RMB 888,000 to RMB 1,288,000 and from RMB1,268,000 to RMB1,386,000 respectively. Currently, the two models have already received a total of 1,247 orders which are expected to boost Lexus's sales in China's market.
