Shanghai (ZXZC)- It is reported that Dongfeng Sokon Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFSK) increased its auto sales to a record high of around 402,000 units throughout 2017, up 6.65% year on year. Surprisingly, the sales of SUV skyrocketed 118.44% from a year earlier.

As to brands, around 271,000 units of Dongfeng Fengguang were sold in 2017, accounting for 67.4% of overall annual sales. Among that, Dongfeng Fengguang 580 reached an annual sales volume of 176,000 units in 2017. It is worth mentioning that Dongfeng Fengguang 580’s single monthly sales have exceeded 10 thousand units for 17 consecutive months.

Dongfeng Fengguang has three major PV platforms, FG-A, FG-B, FG-C, with coverage of compact vehicles, medium-sized vehicles and medium-large vehicles. In the next 2 to 3 years, the automaker will launch several all-new models based on the three platforms.
