Production at Li Auto was affected by a shortage of parts due to the Chinese New Year holiday and the Covid-19 outbreak in Suzhou, the company said.

Li Auto delivered 8,414 units of the Li ONE, the company's only model, in February, up 265.8 percent year-on-year, according to figures it released today.

The delivery volume was down 31.4 percent compared to 12,268 units in January.

The company's production was affected by a shortage of some parts supply due to the Chinese New Year holiday and the Covid-19 outbreak in Suzhou, Li Auto said.

The Chinese New Year holiday, which run from January 31 to February 6, was usually a slow time for car sales.

"We are taking additional measures to ensure supply and safeguard production, aiming to shorten the waiting time of delivery to our users," said Shen Yanan, co-founder and president of Li Auto.

Since the start of deliveries, Li ONE's cumulative deliveries have reached 144,770 units.

As of February 28, 2022, Li Auto has 220 retail centers in China, covering 105 cities, and 279 after-sales service centers and authorized sheet metal spray centers, covering 204 cities.
