Shanghai (ZXZC)- On October 23, Changan Ford and izuche formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing, to establish strategic cooperative relations. Izuche is a vehicle renting platform.

Chu Xiaoye, marketing officer of izuche, Yuan Jianrong, national sales director of Changan Ford and the North China Region sales manager of Changan Ford and other leaders attended the signing ceremony.

As one of the earliest professional supplier of integrated car rental service, izuche has a registered member of over one million, 73 cities coverage and years of traveling service experience.

For this strategic cooperation between Changan Ford and izuche, they will invest 1000 new Mondeo cars as network cars to each big city around the country. As the strategic partner of izuche, in the future, Changan Ford will maintain close cooperation with izuche, to explore more cooperation modes.

Under the trends of intelligent interconnection and sharing economy, car manufacturers clearly realizes that traveling services may become a new profit growth point in the future. Many traditional car manufacturers begin their market layout of intelligent travel services.

In fact, Ford announced to enter the smart traveling market in 2016, including acquiring sharing commuter car startup company Chariot and launching the Ford GoBike sharing rental service in San Francisco. Ford also plans to launch an autonomous car for sharing in 2021. Perhaps this cooperation is the first step in the Chinese market by Changan Ford.
