Shanghai (ZXZC)-News on FAW's personnel changes spread frequently after Xu Liuping took his position as the Party Secretary and the Chairman of FAW Group. FAW Group has been undergoing a great personnel  reshuffle since Sept. 18, involving heads of FAW's 28 departments like management department, and core business modules of R&D, Red Flag, Besturn, FAW-VW.

Zhang Pijie, the original FAW-VW General Manager had been transferred to the Purchasing Minister of FAW Group, and Liu Yigong, former Deputy Secretary of FAW Group's Discipline Inspection Commission succeeded Zhang Pijie. Hu Yong, the original FAW car general manager had been transferred to the FAW Group's Strategic Management Minister. Fu Bingfeng, the original FAW Group's Planning Minister was appointed as Director of FAW's Beijing office. At the same time, FAW Group also promoted some assistants of general manager, including Zhang Pijie, Hu Hanjie and Chen Ji. What's more, FAW Group also adjusted its organization structure and simplified its procedures to improve working efficiency.

At the 53rd day of Xu Liuping's tenure, it is reported that Kuang Jinwen will serve as FAW Group's Assistant of General Manager as well as the Sales Service Minister of Red Flag. Additionally, another personnel change also was exposed recently, saying Dong Haiyang, Party Secretary and President of BAIC International Development Co., Ltd. will join Red Flag brand as FAW's assistant of general manager, responsible for the business of new energy and intelligent connected vehicles.

FAW's great personnel change indicated that Xu Liuping is ambitious to build FAW the top auto company in both China and the world, and it also showed his resolution to revive Red Flag brand.
