Shanghai, September 5, ZXZC - Haima Auto released its August production and sales volume data on September 4th, showing that the company produces 8,274 units in August with year-on-year decline of 41.92%. The sales data turns out to be 10,638 units, declining 16.18%. In the meantime, the total production and sales volume of Haima Auto decrease 32.92% and 29.01% respectively in the previous eight months.

It’s also learned that Haima Auto has a total production and sales volume of 74,978 units and 78,826 units from January to July with year-on-year decline of 31.75% and 30.45% respectively. The sales volume always shows a declining trend in the past seven months, accomplishing only 40% of the annual target. Its mainstream SUV product S5 also shows obvious sales decline. The monthly sales volume of S5 exceeded 10,000 in 2016 with annual growth of 61%. But the monthly sales volume declines to 6,816 units in February and 2,771 units in July.

It’s analyzed that the fact of Haima lacking competition in traditional vehicles and no breakthrough in alternative energy vehicles results in the decline. But the trend may continue with more brands flooding into the domestic auto market.
