Chinese electric vehicle startup Enovate Motors has recently unveiled design renderings of its second production vehicle, the Enovate ME5, showing what its new car will look like.

The new car is designed by a team headed by former Porsche designer Hakan Saracoglu and is expected to go on sale in the third quarter of this year.

From the design, the ME5 continues the Enovate family-style, with a closed front grille and a LED light strip under the front hatch forming a crossover design.

The new car's narrow headlight shape and running taillights cater to the current trend, and its five-spoke wheels are very visible.

According to previous media reports, the Enovate ME5 has a length, width, and height of 4580/1915/1635mm and a wheelbase of 2750 mm, and is set to be a compact SUV.

The new vehicle will be available in pure electric and extended-range versions, of which the pure electric version is equipped with a ternary lithium battery and a drive motor with a maximum power of 150 kW.

Its version with extended-range technology is equipped with a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 72 kW. Equipped with a 30kWh battery pack, its pure electric range can reach 150 km, and the NEDC combined range reaches 1,012 km.

It is worth noting that on May 7, Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com and Enovate Motors reached a strategic cooperation, in which the two sides will cooperate in digital marketing, deep customization of smart products and smart mobility, focusing on creating customized models with differentiated competitive advantages.

At the moment, the two sides have not yet decided on the collaborative models, but they have indicated that further information may be announced around June 18 this year.
