Currently, reporters knew from “Michigan-Guangdong Communication Forum” that, the two places will continue to strengthen cooperation in the future and it’s expected that the first domestic self-driving test base will be located in Guangzhou, the provincial capital of Guangdong province.

Auto R&D investment in Michigan occupies for 76% of the total auto R&D investment in America, obtaining original achievements in intelligent transportation and self-driving technologies. Guangzhou also has a large auto industry, cooperating greatly with America. It’s introduced that Michigan has a self-driving test base called Mcity Project, which is expected to be implemented in Yang Cheng, Guangdong Province.
