Geely Emgrand HEV will be launched in the latter half of year with oil consumption of 1.5L
Shanghai, May 23rd, ZXZC - Geely Auto has just released its first PHEV version, Emgrand PHEV, displaying its latest progress in alternative energy vehicle area. It’s known from insiders that Geely Emgrand PHEV will be officially launched in the latter half of year, equipping power plants combined from a 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine and two electric motors. The comprehensive oil consumption per 100 KM will be 1.5L.
Emgrand PHEV adopts the current Emgrand EV’s image, with the blue shield-shape front grille blending with elegant car body. Besides, the charging port is equipped at the left front wing.
The interior decoration is basically the same with Emgrand EV model, showing a young and fashionable image. The matching indigo blue and black design also conforms to Geely alternative energy vehicles’ designing idea. Besides, the knobs and press-buttons in driving mode behind the electronic gear lever also make it convenient to change between BEV and PHEV modes.
Emgrand PHEV will equip with a 1.5L engine code-named JLγ-4G15H, matching with the high-efficient dual motor systems and ternary lithium batteries. It’s learned that the Emgrand PHEV motor will have maximum power of 76 KW. The highest speed will reach 175KM/h, with oil consumption reaching 1.5L per 100 kilometers under NEDC conditions and 5.1L per 100 kilometers under HEV mode. The pure electric mileage will reach 61 kilometers under NEDC conditions.
