Netcom agency was informed from SAIC-GM Wuling official that in January this year, SAIC-GM Wuling fell 15%, in addition to the new models, each model has different degrees of decline. It is worth mentioning that although the decline trend is obvious, the overall number of monthly sales is still considerable which break 180 thousand.

In the commercial vehicle parts, Wuling Hongguang series fell 16% in January, with a total sales of 60132 units. In the second half of the year, Baojun 310 came to the market, which slightly filled the vacancies of Baojun 560and Baojun 730, the overall was still down 6%.

As two sales support pillars, the sales decrease of Baojun 560 and 730 bring greater blow to the SAIC-GM Wuling brand. Baojun 560 fell 48%, with the sales of 27007 units. Baojun 730 fell 25%, with the sales of 31919 vehicles. Compared with the same period, the only advantage is the launch of Baojun 310. In January this year, Baojun 310 sold a total of 18006 vehicles, slightly filled the vacancies.

In the future, SAIC-GM Wuling will continue to make efforts in the passenger car market. In order to slow down the effects which commercial vehicles decline brought, the focus will be on Baojun brand models. Besides the modification of Baojun 560 and 730, Baojun will also launch several new models and be imperative to create another "miraculous car", including small-scale SUV Baojun 510 and Baojun 310W, the Travel Edition of Baojun 310.
