Geely Holding records sales volume of 184,200 vehicles in Feb. 2024

Zhejiang Geely Holding Group ("Geely Holding") announced on Monday that its automobile sales volume reached around 184,200 units in the second month of 2024.

Of the vehicles the group sold last month, 64,300 units were contributed by new energy vehicles (NEVs), representing a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 5% and accounting for 35% of Geely Holding's overall auto sales.

Geely Holding encompasses key automotive entities such as Geely Auto Group, Volvo Cars, PROTON, Lynk & Co, Lotus Cars, Polestar, LEVC (London EV Company), smart, RADAR, and Farizon Auto.

Geely Auto Group, comprising Geely, Lynk & Co, ZEEKR, and Livan Auto brands, reported a sales volume of 111,398 units for the month of February 2024, witnessing a 3% YoY growth. In the month, its new energy vehicle sales amounted to 33,508 units, surging 48% from a year earlier.

Breaking down the performance of individual brands within Geely Auto Group, Geely brand's monthly sales reached 90,679 units in February, showing an upward movement over the previous year. Lynk & Co achieved a monthly sales figure of 13,209 units, which climbed over 9% year over year. Notably, ZEEKR demonstrated a remarkable YoY spike of 38%, with a total delivery volume of 7,510 units in the month.In addition, Volvo Cars, part of the Geely Holding Group, recorded a global sales volume of 50,315 units in February, 44% of which came from its NEV lineup. In the same time span, PROTON sold 13,602 vehicles.
