FAW Audi's new A6L hits Chinese market
FAW Audi launched the new A6L sedan in China on Saturday with upgraded configurations to meet the demands of consumers. It is the eighth generation of the long-wheelbase model and aims to establish a new benchmark in luxury motoring.
The carmaker offers 12 variants of the new A6L. The body measures 5,050 millimeters in length and the wheelbase stretches to 3,024 mm, which provides rear-passenger legroom that is competitive in the segment. Its 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels are offered to Chinese customers exclusively.
The model has three powertrains: 2.0 TFSI (Turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injection) high- and low-power engines and a 3.0 TFSI, which can deliver a maximum output of 250 kilowatts and a top torque of 500 Newton meters.
Equipped with the quattro ultra system, which can monitor up to 150 parameters, including speed and road surface friction, the model can switch automatically and seamlessly between two-wheel and four-wheel drive.
The new model uses more advanced materials in its interior to provide a luxury experience for customers.
Introduced in 2005, the model has 2.4 million Chinese owners.
