Sylphy gets sophisticated as Dongfeng Nissan offer more choices
Dongfeng Nissan launched the all-new Sylphy sedan on Friday in Zhuhai, South China’s Guangdong province, with more power options and an upgraded configuration.
The joint venture now offers eight power variants of the Sylphy, including petrol and hybrid. The latter is equipped with second-generation e-Power technology, which can generate a maximum output of 100 kilowatts and a top toque of 300 Newton meters.
Inside, the model features a 7-inch LCD instrument binnacle and a 12.3-inch HD touch screen. Run by the Nissan Connect 2.0 intelligent system, the all-new Sylphy demonstrates a modern sense of technology.
Equipped with the Level 2 driving-assist system ProPilot, it can identify road lines and adjust the steering, ensuring that the vehicle always stays in the center of a lane.
The Sylphy is one of the most popular models in China. It was the best-selling sedan in 2018, 2021 and 2022.
Hitting the Chinese market in 2006, the model's accumulated sales total 5 million units. Thousands of them went to Zhuhai to celebrate the milestone moment last week.
