Changan's Yida first model to feature Baidu's ChatGPT-like Ernie
Chinese carmaker Changan launched its Yida sedan on Saturday. It is the first mass-produced model in China to feature Ernie Bot, Baidu's version of ChatGPT.
Changan said the model will be available in its Yida via software updates, which will enable Baidu's latest AI results to offer car buyers new experiences in the age of new mobility.
The compact sedan, available in three variants, sports a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.
It has a maximum output of 260 Nm and its fuel consumption stands at 5.99 liters per 100 km.
The Yida boasts 2,765 mm wheelbase and measures 1,840 mm in width, which offers segment-leading room for its driver and passengers.
In terms of smart functions, the sedan has an array of advanced driving-assist features.
It is also compatible with voice command and features gesture control, facial recognition and onboard child safety monitoring.
