HRC, a Chinese solution provider for composite materials, is showcasing a carbon fiber sports car at the 6th China International Import Expo, which runs from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

The Hyper SSR, produced by GAC Aion, uses 32 carbon fiber component assemblies from HRC. It has a peak torque of 12,000 Nm, a maximum power of 1,225 horsepower, and accelerates from zero to 100 km/hour in 1.9 seconds.

HRC, specializing in cutting-edge composite technology, said the application of carbon fiber has achieved the ultimate lightweight of the entire vehicle, helping to improve energy efficiency and range, and reduce carbon emissions.

At the CIIE, HRC focuses on the themes of future travel and future life, presenting full-size, high-precision, and lightweight carbon fiber products in industries and fields such as automobiles, aviation, hydrogen storage, and construction.

Another exhibit at its booth is a low-carbon, lightweight carbon fiber building template, which can significantly increase its service life compared with its predecessor show at last year's CIIE.

"By saving raw materials, improving quality, and reducing costs, we aim to assist the construction industry in achieving the goal of high cycle and zero emission green development," said the company.
