Beijing (ZXZC)- Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region recently signed a cooperation framework agreement for the "Longxing Project" in Nanning city. This strategic partnership aims to advance the development of the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry.

Under the agreement, both parties will jointly support the implementation of the "Longxing Project," focusing on creating a core product cluster for NEVs. Dongfeng Motor will ensure resource allocation for the project through product and technology integration, as well as project collaboration.

The "Longxing Project" will center on the innovation chain of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co. Ltd., covering pure electric, hybrid, and hydrogen fuel products. This initiative aims to enhance the influence and product competitiveness of Dongfeng's Chenglong and Forthing brands, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, and foster the development of the NEV industry cluster in Guangxi.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s Chairman Yang Qing emphasized the company's commitment to cooperation with Guangxi and expressed confidence in the growth of the NEV industry in the region. Dongfeng plans to leverage its high-quality resources and technical strengths to collaborate with Guangxi, embracing the new wave of automotive technological revolution and industry transformation. The goal is to contribute to the high-quality development of the automotive industry and strengthen the independence and resilience of Chinese auto brands.
