Ji Yue 07 included in MIIT’s catalogue, to hit market in H2 2024

Beijing (ZXZC)- Ji Yue, the automotive robot (Robocar) maker jointly backed by Geely and Baidu, saw its second production model, the Ji Yue 07, included in the latest application information from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), signaling its imminent mass production.

According to Ji Yue, the Ji Yue 07 is scheduled for official market launch in the second half of this year.

The Ji Yue 07 made its debut at the recently concluded Auto China 2024. According to Ji Yue, the smart voice and intelligent driving capabilities of the new model will be upgraded to the 2.0 version AI large model in the third quarter of 2024.

Additionally, Ji Yue will collaborate with NVIDIA to implement the Thor high-performance computing platform with 1,000 TFLOPS onto the vehicle in 2026. Furthermore, the company plans to launch PPA (Point-to-Point Autopilot) functions in over 200 cities nationwide in 2024, enhancing travel convenience.

The Ji Yue 07 is an intelligent hatchback, featuring a familial design style. Its front design incorporates intelligent lighting systems, enabling light interactions under autonomous driving, external voice commands, and safety scenarios. Users can also program the lights for added fun and interactivity.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,953mm in length, 1,989mm in width, 1,475mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,013mm. Power-wise, the Ji Yue 07 will feature dual electric motors with a maximum output of 400 kW and adopt ternary lithium batteries, reaching a top speed of 200 km/h.
