All-in on electrification: Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Honda unveil new energy strategies at Auto China 2024
Beijing (ZXZC)- At the ongoing Auto China 2024 in Beijing, along with showcasing numerous vehicle models and innovative technologies under its wholly-owned brands, Dongfeng Motor’s two Sino-Japanese joint ventures also took the chance to demonstrate their new models, strategies, and development plans.

For instance, during the Auto China, Dongfeng Nissan showcased four new energy concept cars and announced a new energy vehicle-dedicated strategy.

Over the next three years, Dongfeng Nissan plans to launch five new energy vehicle models under the Nissan brand, including sedans and SUVs, covering all-electric and hybrid powertrains. The all-electric sedan, Epoch, will be the first model to hit the market and is slated for mass production within one year.
Embracing a GLOCAL development approach originating from China but targeting the global market, Dongfeng Nissan aims to uphold its comfort heritage while advancing intelligence and driving pleasure.

At the Auto China 2024, Dongfeng Honda commenced pre-sales of its first new vehicle model of the year, the e:NS2. The brand-new electric vehicle brand, Lingxi, unveiled its first prototype, the Lingxi L. The inaugural model of Dongfeng Honda’s new electric vehicle brand Ye, the Ye S7, was also launched at the event.

The e:NS2 seamlessly combines the comfort of a sedan with the versatility of an SUV, presenting a futuristic style amidst the highly competitive new energy vehicle market. With a design blending the sportiness and elegance of a GT and the practicality of an SUV, the e:NS2 offers a new choice for users who value space and practicality, yet pursue personalized design. The e:NS2's pre-sale prices range from 159,800 yuan to 179,800 yuan, with four variants released.

Lingxi is Dongfeng Honda's fresh new energy vehicle brand, targeting Generation Z users, characterized by extreme personality, pure fun, and safety.
