2024 Haval Menglong SUV goes on sale, starting at 165,800 yuan

Shanghai (ZXZC)- On April 23, the 2024 Haval Menglong SUV hits market, offering four variants with prices ranging from 165,800 yuan to 192,800 yuan. 

According to information on the official website, compared to its predecessor, the 2024 Haval Menglong is 21mm taller, with the minimum ground clearance increased to 221mm (previously 200mm), and its wading depth improved to 580mm (previously 560mm) . The approach angle is now 25° (previously 24°), departure angle is 32°( previously 30°), and the ramp breakover angle is 20.1° (previously 19°), further enhancing its off-road capability. Tires sized 225/60 R19 are now standard, while 265/60 R18 tires are available as an option.

The 2024 Haval Menglong retains its previous style characterized by clean and straight lines. Its front end features a square-shaped grille and vintage-style round headlights, while the rear is equipped with an externally mounted spare tire. 

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,800mm in length (including the spare tire), 1,916mm in width, 1,822mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,738mm.

Apart from brown and beige, the new model introduces a black-beige interior. Adopting a square and orderly design style, it is equipped with two large-sized screens. As a product aimed at off-road scenarios, it retains many physical buttons. The vehicle features a panoramic sunroof, providing commendable spatial performance.

Power-wise, the new Haval Menglong incorporates a 1.5T+Hi4 intelligent four-wheel drive hybrid system. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power output of 123kW and a peak torque of 243Nm. 

The hybrid system comes in two versions based on battery capacity. The 19.09kWh LFP battery version features a combined power of 278kW and a synthetic torque of 750Nm. It achieves an NEDC range of 102km, supports the fast charging capability with a peak power output of 33kW.

The 27.54kWh LFP battery version has a combined power output of 282kW and peak torque of 750Nm. It offers an NEDC range of 145km, supports fast charging with a peak power output of 41kW. 

Both versions support the V2L (vehicle-to-load) technology with a discharge power of 3.3kW.
