Nissan Motor’ China sales rise 10.05% YoY in March 2024
Beijing (ZXZC)- Nissan Motor on April 8 revealed its sales figures for China in March and the first quarter of 2023, with both seeing a year-on-year rise.

Nissan's China sales performance in March showed a 10.05% increase from the previous year and a 43.25% surge from the previous month, with 59,914 units sold across both its passenger and light commercial vehicle segments.
Dongfeng Nissan, which includes the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, achieved a monthly sales volume of 56,486 vehicles in the past month, representing a year-on-year jump of 15%.
In addition, Zhengzhou Nissan, the light commercial vehicle sector of Nissan Motor in China, sold 3,428 vehicles in March, indicating a 35.62% plunge from a year ago.
In the first three months of 2024, the Japanese automaker reported a cumulative sales volume of 167,291 vehicles in China, which climbed up 3.29% compared to the same period last year.
Mr. Shohei Yamazaki, Senior Vice President of Nissan Motor Corporation and Chairman of Nissan's China Management Committee, as well as President of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, stated: "The situation in the Chinese market remains complex in the first quarter of 2024. Nissan's sales data for March and the first quarter have shown growth compared to the same period last year. Nissan will continue to fulfill its commitment to Chinese consumers by providing a diverse range of product choices and user value."
