Beijing (ZXZC)- On March 20, JAC Motors announced its entry into the Australian pickup market with the debut of the right-hand drive JAC T9 diesel-powered pickup, tailored specifically for the local market.

At a joint press conference with local distributor LTS Auto, JAC Motors introduced the diesel-powered pickup slated for sale in April, along with plans to introduce a range of new energy vehicle products to the Australian market thereafter.

During his address, Zhang Peng, Vice General Manager of JAC Group, highlighted the significance of the pickup market in Australia, one of the largest automotive segments with annual sales of up to 250,000 vehicles. JAC Motors aims to leverage its core expertise in pickup products, introducing the meticulously crafted JAC T9 premium pickup to cater to local preferences.

The T9 diesel-powered pickup boasts advantages in intelligence, safety, and style. JAC Motors aims for it to benefit Australian entrepreneurs and outdoor enthusiasts, establishing a positive brand image for the JAC brand in Australia. Additionally, JAC Motors plans to introduce the T9 all-electric four-wheel-drive pickup and T9 plug-in hybrid four-wheel-drive pickup variants, providing differentiated, competitive products and comprehensive solutions tailored to the local market.
