Geely Automobile scores 3% YoY growth in Feb. 2024 vehicle sales
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("Geely Automobile" or the "Group") recorded a monthly sales volume of 111,398 vehicles for February 2024, showing a 3% year-on-year (YoY) growth, according to the Group's latest monthly sales results.

Of the vehicles the Group sold last month, 33,508 units were new energy vehicles, representing a robust 47.7% leap from the previous year. To be specific, the sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) dipped 3% over a year earlier to 20,113 units, while the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) unit logged a sales volume of 13,395 units, which zoomed up 572% from the year-ago period.
In addition, Geely Automobile reported an export volume of 24,373 vehicles for the month of February 2024, which grew 39% over the prior-year period.
Breaking down the Group's Feb. sales by specific brands, the Geely brand saw its sales remain flat over a year earlier to 90,679 units, including 9,120 units under the new energy vehicle range Galaxy. The premium electric vehicle brand ZEEKR scored a remarkable YoY leap of 38% with 7,510 vehicles delivered in the month. Moreover, Lynk & Co sold 13,209 vehicles, displaying a YoY growth of 9%.
For the first two months of this year, Geely Automobile boasted a 55% surge from a year earlier in its year-to-date sales, which stood at 324,885 units. Of those, 99,334 units were contributed by the new energy vehicle sector, exhibiting a 208.35% YoY soar.
