Li Auto Jan. deliveries jump 128% YoY
China’s EV startup, Li Auto, saw its January sales more than double year on year, surpassing the 10,000th mark again, signifying a prominent beginning of the new year of 2022.

With still one model on the market, Li Auto sold 12,268 units of its Li ONE in January, representing a 128.1% soar from a year ago. However, its sales volume dropped from last December’s 14,087 vehicles by 12.9%.
By January, Li Auto had sold 136,356 units of the Li ONE since delivery started.
According to the co-founder and president of Li Auto, Shen Yanan, January marked the third consecutive month for the startup to deliver over 10,000 vehicles monthly, setting a new delivery record among all Chinese branded luxury models starting over RMB300,000 $47,373).
Moreover, the Li ONE was rewarded champion of the year in a recent third-party AEB test as the only participating model that allows precise recognition of sideway vehicles and two-wheelers.
By the end of January 2022, Li Auto has opened up 220 retail centers in 105 Chinese cities, with 276 aftersales maintenance centers and authorized body shops in domestic 204 cities.
Notably, according to previous reports, Li Auto plans on debuting a full-size extended range SUV model, the X01, in the second quarter of 2022.
