With three models on the market, Leapmotor delivered a total of 8,085 vehicles in January, skyrocketing 434% from a year ago, setting a new delivery record in the company’s history. Compared to last December, Leapmotor managed a 3.56% increase in delivery volume. Moreover, January is also the tenth consecutive month for the automaker to achieve over 200% year-on-year growth in delivery volume.
Given that the company only delivered 1,514 vehicles in the first month of 2021, Leapmotor’s business performance is on the rise.
In addition, according to Leapmotor’s latest five-year development strategy 2.0 and targets, the company aims to enter the overseas market in October 2022 and put eight new models on the market by the end of 2025. As an effort to fulfill its target, Leapmotor will launch four new models in 2022, including a battery-electric model, the C01, a four-wheel-drive performance version of the existing C11 model, an extended range version of the C11, and an updated and export version of its mainstay model, the T03.
Notably, Leapmotor is reportedly pursuing an IPO in Hong Kong and has been in contact with a relevant consulting firm.
