SERES Group, Chongqing University to jointly cultivate talents for automotive industry
Beijing (ZXZC)- On January 16, Chinese automaker SERES Group and Chongqing University formalized a strategic cooperation agreement at SERES’ headquarters. The partnership aims to collaborate extensively in talent development and technological innovation within intelligent manufacturing, new energy vehicles, and intelligent connected vehicles.

Through cooperative initiatives like curriculum development and work-study programs, they plan to nurture innovative talents vital for supporting industry growth.
In addition to the strategic cooperation agreement, SERES Group and Chongqing University signed an implementation agreement for the new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industry-education-research integration platform.
Under the agreement, the duo will establish the Chongqing Excellence Engineering College-SERES New Energy Vehicle Design Institute Co., Ltd. joint laboratories in "New Energy Vehicles," "Intelligent Connected Vehicles," "Advanced Manufacturing," and "Automotive Carbon Neutrality." Both parties commit to forming research teams, exploring cutting-edge technologies, addressing engineering challenges, and conducting foundational studies. Leveraging these joint laboratories, they aim to cultivate exceptional engineers, strengthen collaboration on talent resources, and facilitate the transformation of scientific achievements.
This collaboration seeks to expedite the integration of new energy vehicle technology with fundamental research and enhance the connection between university talents and industry demands, fostering deeper and more practical industry-academia cooperation and exploring innovative paths for education-industry integration.
