The released dual shot technology comprises a set of injection systems formed by a "single locking mechanism + two parallelly arranged injection systems." This innovative technology ingeniously addresses a series of issues arising from limitations in maximum filling distances. As die-casting tonnages surge and the integration of larger die-castings becomes more prevalent, limitations of single injection systems become prominent. The market demand for integral die-cast vehicle chassis and advanced concepts like skateboard platforms poses greater challenges to injection molding processes.

After over two years of joint R&D works, L.K. Technology and Chery Auto developed this over-ten-thousand-ton dual shot system, resolving resulting issues and paving the way for limitless possibilities in future larger integrated die-casting.

In 2019, the world's first integrated die-cast rear floor, produced using L.K. Technology's 6000T die-casting machine, validated the feasibility of integral die-casting for large automotive body parts. In 2022, successful experiments with dual injection technology on small-tonnage models resulted in prototypes. Months of fine-tuning led to the production of the world's first 3:1 scale integrated lower car body part in June 2023 on the small-tonnage die-casting machine, laying a robust foundation for subsequent over-ten-thousand-ton machine dual shot system development, said L.K. Technology. After another six months, the breakthrough of the over-ten-thousand-ton dual shot technology was achieved.
