First Batch of Xiaomi SU7 Founder’s Edition Set to Sail
According to Xiaomi EV’s official Weibo account, the Xiaomi SU7 Founder’s Edition is expected to start deliveries as early as April 3. The standard Xiaomi SU7 and the Xiaomi SU7 Max are scheduled to begin deliveries at the end of April, while the Xiaomi SU7 Pro is set to start at the end of May.
Supply Chain Boost to Meet Market Demand
Sources have revealed to local media that Xiaomi EV has recently requested suppliers to increase their production capacity to accommodate 10,000 vehicles per month, focusing on high-spec models. Initially, Xiaomi EV aimed to produce over 3,000 vehicles per month by March, increasing to 4,000-5,000 by April, and stabilizing at 6,000 units per month by year-end. However, the market demand for Xiaomi cars has exceeded expectations.
Hot Orders, Extended Delivery Times
As of the early hours of April 2, the Xiaomi SU7 has received fixed orders for 40,000 units. Furthermore, the delivery lead times for the Xiaomi SU7 have been extended. On March 31, the standard edition of the Xiaomi SU7 had an estimated delivery time of 16-19 weeks, while the Pro version was estimated at 17-20 weeks, and the Max version required 26-29 weeks for delivery. By the morning of April 2, these delivery times have been extended to 20-23 weeks, 19-22 weeks, and 28-31 weeks, respectively.
