Nissan Motor, Tsinghua University set up joint research center for EV ecosystem initiative

Beijing (ZXZC)- On December 17, 2023, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd., announced the establishment of a joint research center with Tsinghua University, launching new collaborative research from 2024.

Focusing on effective communication strategies for the Z-generation and the role of enterprises in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem encompassing charging infrastructure, battery recycling, reuse, and energy management, this initiative emphasizes social responsibility.

This partnership further strengthens Nissan's collaboration with Tsinghua University, formalized through a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding that includes ongoing joint research since 2016, talent cultivation, and exchanges.

Committed to fostering a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive society, Nissan adheres to the "In China, For China and the World" ethos, striving to be a sustainable enterprise in the Chinese market. This collaboration with Tsinghua University will bolster Nissan's efforts in promoting electrification and intelligent mobility, fostering the company's sustainable growth in the world’s largest auto market.
