Dongfeng Motor’s export arm ships 40,907 vehicles overseas in Jan.-Nov. 2023

Beijing (ZXZC)- On December 4, China Dongfeng Motor Industry Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., the international trade arm of Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor, announced a remarkable 81% year-on-year surge in its auto exports from January to November this year, totaling 40,907 units.

Specifically, the AEOLUS passenger vehicle brand exported 10,287 vehicles in the first eleven months of this year, which skyrocketed 141% year over year.

Dongfeng Trucks, the commercial vehicle segment of Dongfeng Motor, shipped a total of 11,269 vehicles in the Jan.-Nov. period, representing a 169% spike compared to the same time span of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the Dongfeng Motor’s premium new energy vehicle brand, VOYAH, boasted a 436% year-on-year soar in auto exports for the first eleven months of 2023, which came in at 4,527 vehicles.

Currently, VOYAH has two models selling overseas, namely, the FREE SUV and the DREAM MPV. According to the company’s plans, the Zhuiguang sedan is set to enter the European market in the near future.

VOYAH has already entered markets in Norway, Israel, Finland, Denmark, and the Netherlands. In a bid to expand its international presence, VOYAH holds further plans to enter the other European markets, including Germany, France, and Italy.
