Geely Automobile’s monthly auto sales hit record high in Nov. 2023

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("the Company", together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), announced that the Group’s monthly vehicle sales reached 200,079 vehicles in November 2023, jumping 38% from the previous year and once again refreshing its monthly sales record.

As for the year-to-date performance, the Group sold 1,536,063 vehicles through the first 11 months of this year, representing a 19% year-on-year growth.

Of the vehicles sold in the Jan.-Nov. period, 427,014 units (+50.26% YoY) were contributed by new energy vehicles (NEVs), including 300,442 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and 126,572 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). In November alone, the Group sold 65,034 NEVs (composed of 35,329 BEVs and 29,705 PHEVs), reflecting a remarkable year-on-year surge of 87.73%.

In addition, the Group’s export volume in November soared 62% over a year ago to 30,209 units, resulting in a year-to-date volume of 252,754 units, which leapt 41% from the previous year.

Breaking down the November sales performance by specific brands, there were 153,845 vehicles under the Geely brand sold last month, indicating a 42% year-on-year spike. Of those, 13,770 units were from the Galaxy NEV range.

ZEEKR, the brand dedicated to premium electric vehicles, recorded a sales volume of 13,104 vehicles in November, showing a 19% growth year-over-year. Lynk & Co saw its November sales zoom up 66% from the year-ago period to 30,055 units. However, Livan Auto, the brand co-owned by Lifan Technology, faced a 58% year-on-year plunge with 3,075 vehicles sold last month.
