Beijing (ZXZC)- On November 30, Xia Yiping, CEO of Ji Yue, the automotive robot (Robocar) brand jointly backed by Geely and Baidu, officially announced a significant price reduction across the Ji Yue 01 series.

The Ji Yue 01 Max's starting price has been adjusted to 219,000 yuan, while the Ji Yue 01 Max Performance now starts at 309,900 yuan, representing a reduction of 30,000 yuan over their initial prices. Additionally, users opting for replacement could benefit from an extra 5,000-yuan discount on top of the reduced prices.

Notably, the Ji Yue 01 Max, a popular variant, with its extended-range ternary lithium battery pack (100kWh, offering 720km range), has seen a simultaneous reduction of 10,000 yuan in price, effectively marking a total price drop of 40,000 yuan, now priced at 254,900 yuan.

For existing Ji Yue 01 owners, the company plans to offer a 30,000-yuan cash compensation based on the price difference between the old and current purchase prices.

Xia Yiping expressed, "Since the launch of the Ji Yue 01, we've received positive feedback from users and the market. Understanding the importance of accelerating 'technological equality' for users and the automotive industry, Ji Yue has formed a special team to analyze and swiftly iterate, establishing new pricing and benefit schemes."

Besides the price reduction, Ji Yue has enhanced the purchasing benefits for the Ji Yue 01 series, effective from 19:30 on November 30. Customers purchasing the Ji Yue 01 Max will enjoy several benefits, including discounts on battery upgrades, accessory packages, wheel upgrades, paint options, and a significant reduction on the ROBO Drive Max advanced intelligent driving feature for a limited time.

Moreover, buyers of the Ji Yue 01 series will benefit from lifetime vehicle/three key components (battery, electric motor, and electric control unit) warranties, lifetime free roadside assistance, and an extension of the ROBO Drive Max advanced intelligent driving subscription from 6 to 12 months.
