Beijing (ZXZC)- In October 2023, Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor delivered a total of 18,202 new vehicles, representing a 159% year-on-year soar while setting a new monthly delivery record.

On October 16, Leapmotor released its financial report for the third quarter of 2023. During this reporting period, Leapmotor experienced a substantial surge in sales, delivering a total of 44,325 new vehicles, representing a 24.5% jump from the previous year and refreshing its quarterly delivery record. 

On October 26, Stellantis N.V. and Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology Co., Ltd. announced their strategic partnership. Stellantis plans to invest approximately €1.5 billion to acquire around 20% of Leapmotor's shares, becoming a significant shareholder in the company. Furthermore, they revealed a 51%:49% partnership in the formation of "Leapmotor International," a joint venture. This collaboration extends beyond Greater China, as the joint venture will have exclusive rights for exports and sales to all other global markets, along with the authority to manufacture Leapmotor products locally. This unique global partnership between a leading global automaker and a Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer is a pioneering move in the electric vehicle industry.
