Beijing (ZXZC)- XPeng, the Chinese new energy vehicle startup, announced remarkable delivery figures for October 2023, which stood at 20,002 units.

Compared to the previous month, XPeng’s October deliveries surged 31% from the previous month and skyrocketed 292% year on year. Notably, XPeng successfully set a new monthly delivery record in the company's history.

In particular, XPeng's G6 model contributed significantly to this achievement with 8,741 units delivered in October. This consistently upward trajectory in monthly deliveries over the past nine months underscores XPeng's strong growth. The company is now gearing up for a final-quarter sprint, aiming to accelerate the delivery process, said XPeng.

On October 24, during the 1024 XPeng Tech Day event, chairman of XPeng, He Xiaopeng, unveiled the latest production plan for the XNGP intelligent driver assistance system. This system will bring urban pilot navigation assisted driving functions in 20 cities without high-precision maps in its initial phase, with a plan to expand to 50 cities by the end of the year. Furthermore, XPeng is launching AI-driven assisted driving features, initiating small-scale tests this year, with the aim of full nationwide coverage by 2024.

In addition, XPeng showcased the exterior of the X9, its first flagship MPV model, for the first time during the 1024 Tech Day event. The XPeng X9 is set to make its official debut at the Auto Guangzhou 2023 later this month.
