Beijing (ZXZC)- On October 30, Geely's new energy vehicle range, Galaxy, unveiled its third model, the Galaxy E8 pure-electric sedan, to global audiences.

This latest addition to the Galaxy lineup is positioned as a mid-sized sedan, boasting a body length of 5,010mm and a wheelbase of 2,925mm, ensuring a 420-liter trunk space. The Galaxy E8 is also Galaxy's first model born on the SEA architecture. Previously, this platform gave life to an array of notable models like the Lotus ELETRE, Volvo EX30, ZEEKR 001, ZEEKR 009, ZEEKR X, smart #1, smart #3, etc.

Inside, the Galaxy E8 offers a 45-inch 8K HD smart screen that seamlessly integrates the dashboard, center console, and co-driver's entertainment screen with a remarkable 98% screen-to-body ratio. This visual marvel is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip, delivering 7.5 times the AI computing power of the 8155 chip, enabling advanced navigation assistance systems and fluid human-vehicle interactions.

Additional luxuries include a panoramic sunroof, integrated fragrance system, zero-gravity seats, 256-color ambient lighting, 50W wireless phone charging, a 25.6-inch AR-HUD (head-up display), and facial recognition function.

Under the hood, the Galaxy E8 combines SiC three-in-one electric drive system and an electric all-wheel-drive system, supporting 800V high-voltage fast charging, capable of adding 180km of range in just 5 minutes. Furthermore, it employs a new generation BMS battery management system to enhance safety.
