Beijing (ZXZC)- On October 20, Changan Qiyuan, the new energy vehicle range under Changan Auto officially put its A05 sedan onto the market. Coming with six variants, the A05 starts at 89,900 yuan.

For those seeking efficient daily commuting solutions, the lineup includes three models with a 70km pure-electric range: the 70 Lite priced at 89,900 yuan, the 70 Air at 93,900 yuan, and the 70 Pro at 103,900 yuan. Additionally, three models with an extended 145km battery-powered-only range are available: the 145 Air at 116,900 yuan, the 145 Pro at 122,900 yuan, and the 145 Max at 132,900 yuan.

The Changan Qiyuan A05 excels in fuel and energy savings with its "ultra-economical" features, offering true cost efficiency, impressive range, and dynamic performance. Its long-range version boasts a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of just 0.98 liters per 100 kilometers, translating to less than 0.1 yuan per kilometer for city commutes, according to the carmaker's introduction. The real-world battery-powered range reaches 145km, and the comprehensive electric range extends up to 1,300km, said the automaker.

The EV is powered by an intelligent electric motor with a peak power output of 158kW and peak torque of 330N.m. In hybrid mode, it accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.8 seconds.

The Changan Qiyuan A05 is built on the advanced CIIA 1.5 electrification platform.The interior features a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a standard 13.2-inch high-definition touchscreen, forming a large dual-screen interactive setup to enhance user experience.

The model also caters to daily driving scenarios with various tech features, including integrated adaptive cruise control (IACC), a 540° panoramic view camera, smartphone-based vehicle tracking, and Bluetooth key access.
