Shanghai (ZXZC)- On October 14, local time, Great Wall Motor ("GWM") held an event in in the capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, for the launch of its models such as the HAVAL H6 in the local market. This move marks GWM's official entry into the Uzbekistan market.

During the event, Zhang Junxue, President of Great Wall Motor in Eurasia, introduced the company's existing brands, models, and its vision. He emphasized that, in line with HAVAL's new strategic direction, the brand will make a foray into the realm of new energy vehicles. In the near future, HAVAL aims to fully integrate futuristic, technological, and stylish design concepts into its vehicles, presenting Uzbekistan customers with a fresh perspective on style and aesthetics. He added, GWM places great importance on and has a high level of confidence in the development of the HAVAL brand in the Uzbekistan market.

Aleksey, the Acting Chief Operating Officer of HAVAL in Uzbekistan, expressed that the HAVAL brand has a global presence, offering high-quality service, official warranties, advanced technology, innovative solutions, and stylish design. He also announced the upcoming production of HAVAL-branded vehicles at the Jizzakh factory in Uzbekistan.

In a pivotal move made in July of this year, GWM signed an agreement with a leading local automotive group. As part of this collaboration, products under the HAVAL brand will be locally manufactured at the Jizzakh Automotive Factory in Uzbekistan with a planned production capacity of 35,000 units per year. Looking ahead, GWM will explore deeper localization of HAVAL’s products and the potential for cooperation in the field of new energy vehicles with this group, said the automaker.
