Beijing (ZXZC)- Chinese legacy automaker JAC Group saw a substantial growth in its business performance during the Jan.-Aug. period of this year, according to the company’s announcement on September 26.

The announcement disclosed that JAC Group realized a total operating revenue of 30.2 billion yuan in the first eight months of this year, representing a 24.26% surge from a year ago. In the meantime, its net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company came in at roughly 170 million yuan, compared to the net loss of 936 million yuan in the same period last year. 

This impressive performance is attributed to the continual rise in sales volume and a significant enhancement of JAC Group’s market reputation. 

In August 2023, JAC Group posted a remarkable sales figure of 53,870 vehicles, marking a 19.55% increase compared to the same period last year. Impressively, this marks the seventh consecutive month for the company to achieve a year-on-year growth in sales. 

From January to August this year, JAC Group’s cumulative sales volume reached 383,247 vehicles, jumping 18.27% from a year ago. During the same period, the automaker’s cumulative export figure stood at 113,230 vehicles, shooting up 64.28% from that of the year-ago period.
