Beijing (ZXZC)- On September 22, Deepal, the new energy vehicle brand under Changan Automobile, announced its cumulative sales have surpassed 100,000 units in just 14 months after the launch of its first model.

Deepal identifies extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) as the ideal technology path for the current new energy vehicle market. Deepal said its range extender technology boasts an impressive array of 164 core technologies and has been granted 1,286 patents.

In everyday urban commuting scenarios, the extended range system's battery-powered range reaches up to 200 kilometers (CLTC), allowing users to go a week without recharging. For long-distance travel during holidays and weekends, the comprehensive range extends to a remarkable 1,200 kilometers (CLTC), significantly expanding the radius of self-driving travel and eliminating range anxiety.

To reduce users' energy costs, the system employs innovative technologies like high-compression ratio deep Atkinson cycle to achieve a generator efficiency of up to 96%. Under CLTC conditions, it can generate approximately 3.3 kWh with just 1 liter of fuel, resulting in a fuel consumption rate as low as 4.5 L/100km, setting a benchmark in the industry.

Prioritizing user safety, Deepal has developed the iBC digital battery steward technology, which provides 24-hour battery monitoring and 10ms rapid alerting. This innovative solution effectively prevents thermal runaway, elevating the safety of power batteries to new heights and alleviating user concerns about safety.

Deepal's SL03 and S7 models have consistently set delivery records since their launch, leading their respective segments and showcasing their robust product capabilities. Deepal's inaugural model, the SL03, saw its single-month delivery volume exceed 10,000 units in its fifth month on the market. The brand's second strategic model, the S7, achieved over 10,000 units delivered within 35 days of mass delivery, further establishing its position as a leader in the segment.
