Chinese auto parts supplier INOVANCE Automotive displays multiple technical solutions at IAA MOBILITY 2023
Shanghai (ZXZC)- At the IAA MOBILITY 2023, Suzhou Inovance Automotive Co., Ltd. (INOVANCE Automotive), a Chinese company devoted to providing all electronic and mechanical components of ePowertrain, unveiled an array of product solutions that encompassed electric bridge solutions, passenger vehicle product series, commercial vehicle product series, and remanufactured product series. The company said it has already secured projects with numerous top-tier global clients in Europe and the Americas, with several products already going into mass production.
Passenger vehicle solutions

INOVANCE Automotive said it has been continuously enriching its product lineup, providing optimal electric drive solutions for various new energy vehicle platforms, including pure electric, hybrid, and extended-range models. The current development spans four generations of mainstream platforms, incorporating leading power semiconductors, in-motor cooling, and upgraded hairpin winding technologies, boasting industry-leading product efficiency and power density.
Distributed electric drive product

At the exhibition, INOVANCE Automotive showcased its latest distributed electric drive product. This system integrates dual motors, dual controllers, and dual reducers, delivering a peak power exceeding 400 kW, a peak torque of up to 8,000 N·m, and a Y-axis length less than 610 mm. Its compact Y-axis design accommodates single-motor electric drive configurations, and it is compatible with both 400V and 800V platforms to meet diverse vehicle configuration requirements. By eliminating mechanical differentials and integrating intelligent torque distribution, it seamlessly integrates with the chassis system, significantly enhancing vehicle driving and handling performance.

Simultaneously, INOVANCE Automotive adapts to customers' demands for in-house development and flexibly adjusts its business model to offer component solutions that help maximize product competitiveness.

This includes components like electronic control inverters, power modules, and motor fixed rotors. The company also introduced its independently developed power module products at the exhibition, incorporating advanced processes such as hot-pressing, silver sintering, and injection molding. These modules utilize laser welding for terminals, achieving minimal inductance as low as 4.2 nH and a maximum voltage withstand of 1,200V. They support parallel connections of 3-6 chips, with a maximum current of up to 480A rms @ 880Vdc. Additionally, the structural design is compatible with multiple SiC chips, ensuring a secure supply chain.
Commercial vehicle solutions

In the commercial vehicle sector, INOVANCE Automotive said it has completed the product development for multiple vehicle series, including N1, N2, N3, and M3, providing customers with a full range of solutions, including motors, electronic control units, and assemblies. On the technical front, the company has actively aligned with passenger vehicles, incorporating leading technologies such as functional safety system, power semiconductors, in-motor cooling, and upgraded hairpin winding, significantly enhancing product efficiency and power density for commercial vehicle platforms.
Five-in-one controller

At the exhibition, the company also unveiled its fourth-generation five-in-one controller BD45, which highly integrates functions such as BDU, PDU, DCDC, EAC, and EPS, catering to the needs of N2, N3, and M3 vehicle categories. Designed with SiC module technology for primary drive, it meets the Class 3 load-carrying requirements, high EMC level design, and a wealth of electrical integration and functional safety features, providing customers with efficient and reliable product solutions.
Dual motor controller

Addressing the demand for dual-motor multi-gearbox drive systems and dual-axle single-motor system solutions, the exhibition introduced the dual-motor controller product LD32. Featuring deeply integrated dual electronic control design, a single electronic control unit can deliver a maximum power of up to 250 kW, and it is compatible with both single and dual-motor control, meeting diverse system integration requirements.
