Beijing (ZXZC)- Changan Automobile, the renowned Chinese legacy automaker, hosted the "2023 Changan Auto Tech Ecosystem Summit" and introduced the results of the company’s leap into smart mobility.

The highlight was the unveiling of the SDA platform architecture for mass production, presented through innovative automotive scenarios.

Changan Automobile has set an ambitious plan, aiming to invest a cumulative 200 billion yuan by 2030, expand its tech innovation team by over 10,000 members, achieve a group-wide sales target of 5 million vehicles, with wholly-owned brands accounting for 4 million of the total volume. Notably, over 60% of the sales will be from new energy vehicles, and international sales are expected to make up 30% of the total.

In recent years, Changan Automobile has established 16 technology and product R&D centers, along with 17 tech companies, fostering a robust R&D team of 17,000 experts, equipped with over 600 core smart and low-carbon technologies.

The drive for product advancement has been evident, with all newly launched Changan vehicles since 2020 being fully connected. AVATR’s latest offering, the AVATR 11 HarmonyOS Edition, secured over 5,000 orders in its first week of market launch. Furthermore, Deepal successfully introduced the SL03 and S7 models, with over 10,000 units of the S7 SUV delivered in August. Changan's fresh new energy vehicle brand, Changan Qiyuan, will commence bookings for its inaugural model, the Changan Qiyuan A07, this month, while the E0 series, starting with the CD701 model, will officially hit the market next year.

Additionally, Changan has established the "Quark Smart Computing Center," capable of accommodating over 10 million smart vehicles for seamless integration and control, simplifying service access for customers.

In 2024, Changan will host its inaugural developer conference, opening up service-oriented software architecture, operating systems, and value chains aside from vehicle controls. By 2025, Changan aims to launch more than 20 significant products worldwide, including 10 from Changan Qiyuan, 6 from Deepal, and 4 from AVATR. The Changan Qiyuan A07, A05, A06, Q05, and the AVATR 12 will all be on the market and delivered.
