SAIC-GM puts 2023 Buick Encore Plus onto market

Shanghai (ZXZC)- SAIC General Motors (SAIC-GM), the joint venture between SAIC Motor and General Motors, officially put the 2023 Buick Encore Plus onto the market. The latest refreshed model comes with two trim levels - the Lequ Edition and the Zhiqu Edition - priced at 126,900 yuan and 136,900 yuan, respectively.

In terms of exterior design, the new Encore Plus embraces the all-new PURE Design concept. The split-style grille, coupled with wing-shaped diamond LED headlights, significantly contributes to its overall distinctiveness.

The rugged side profile features dual five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, an elevated ground clearance, and bottom skid plates, collectively enhancing the vehicle's sporty appeal.

The rear fascia is equally captivating with its prominent contours, incorporating a roof spoiler, high-mounted brake light, and silver-accented rear skid plate for an added touch of elegance.

Moving into the interior, the vehicle adopts a 360-degree wraparound interior style, adorned with extensive leather-like materials. The combination of French-style double stitching, piano lacquer panels, and exquisite chrome accents elevates the cabin's upscale ambiance. Furthermore, the 2023 Encore Plus is equipped with dual 10.25-inch screens, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, and comes with the latest iteration of the eConnect smart technology, promising an enhanced and user-friendly driving experience.

Under the hood, the 2023 Encore Plus is powered by the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the Buick Envista. With a peak power output of 135 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, the engine is mated to a CVT transmission. The vehicle achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.5 seconds and boasts a combined fuel consumption of 6.59 liters per 100 kilometers.
