Mercedes-Benz (China) issues recall plan for 90,280 imported vehicles
An update from China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) shows that Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will recall a total of 90,280 vehicles starting from October 20, 2023. The recall affects certain imported models including the C-Class, the E-Class, the G-Class, the S-Class, the CLS, the AMG GT, the GLC SUV, the GLE SUV, and the GLS SUV produced between June 1, 2021, and September 30, 2022.

Geely to start presale of Galaxy L6 at Chengdu Motor Show
On August 18, Geely unveiled detailed configuration information for several versions of the Galaxy L6. The new model will offer four variants: AIR, PLUS, MAX, and Starship, along with two all-electric ranges of 60km and 125km. The Galaxy L6 will open for pre-sale at the Chengdu Motor Show 2023, with an expected price range of 140,000 yuan to 180,000 yuan.

SAIC General Motors’ Buick brand today announced the forthcoming release of a new compact SUV model, the Buick Encore Plus. This vehicle, built on the global platform of SAIC General Motors, features Buick's new PURE Design concept and is powered by the eighth-generation Ecotec 1.5T four-cylinder direct-injection turbocharged engine paired with a CVT. The model is set to hit the market in the second half of the year.
