Making the list signifies that the Q05 model has officially obtained regulatory approval.

Positioned as a compact SUV, the Q05 shares dimensions with Changan's second-generation CS55 PLUS, measuring 4,539mm in length, 1,865mm in width, and 1,680mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,656mm. Sources indicate that the Q05 is expected to make its debut later this year.

Powering the Changan Qiyuan Q05 is a plug-in hybrid system. The 1.5L engine, designated as the JL473Q5, delivers a maximum power of 81kW and a top speed of 180 km/h. Depending on the configuration, the model is equipped with various power levels of permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, with peak outputs of 140kW and 158kW. The power comes from batteries supplied by CALB or EVE Power.

Notably, Changan Qiyuan released the official images of its first production model, the A07, in June this year. Different from the Q05, the A07 is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized pure electric sedan. Both models feature a brand-new logo dedicated to the Qiyuan brand and a design language distinct from the existing Changan lineup.
