Beijing (ZXZC)- Changan New Energy announced that the refreshed Changan Lumin 205km Xiangqin Edition will be hitting the market on August 16.

The latest iteration of the compact electric vehicle boasts an extended pure electric range of 205km, along with notable upgrades in charging speed and features. Interested buyers can expect a pricing range between 49,900 yuan and 69,900 yuan, aligning with the current Changan Lumin model.

Embracing its identity as a mini-EV, the refreshed Changan Lumin boasts a charming and compact exterior design. The anticipated color palette retains the seven existing hues, including Mist White, Moss Green, Lake Blue, Magpie Gray, Dew Blue, Wheat Yellow, and Cherry Pink.

Measuring in at 3,270mm in length, 1,700mm in width, and 1,545mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,980mm, the new model ensures a well-proportioned footprint.

Inside the cabin, the Changan Lumin features a prominent 10.25-inch central touchscreen display. This infotainment hub integrates interactive navigation, smart connectivity, and a backup camera system. A visually appealing silver trim beneath the touchscreen houses climate control knobs and buttons. Furthermore, the vehicle introduces new functionalities, including remote climate control and scheduled charging, enhancing the overall user experience.

A key focus of the new Lumin 205km Xiangqin Edition is its optimized charging capabilities. Under ambient conditions, the vehicle achieves a 30% to 80% charge in just 35 minutes, propelled by its advanced lithium iron phosphate battery. This upgrade contributes to the vehicle's extended 205km pure electric range, demonstrating Changan New Energy's dedication to enhancing practicality and convenience for electric vehicle users.
