Changan Automobile’s DEEPAL achieves best-ever monthly deliveries in July

Beijing (ZXZC)- DEEPAL, Changan Automobile's dedicated new energy vehicle brand, reported its latest delivery figures on the evening of August 1. In July alone, DEEPAL delivered a total of 13,172 new vehicles, marking a historic high.

With this achievement, DEEPAL's total deliveries for the first seven months of this year reached an impressive 54,798 vehicles. Notably, the DEEPAL S7, which began large-scale deliveries at the end of June, contributed 9,197 units to the total. 

In addition, the DEEPAL SL03, which was launched in July last year, saw its cumulative delivery volume almost reach 60,000 units by July 2023. 

Although DEEPAL currently offers only two production models, the brand has successfully incorporated a diverse range of powertrain options. The DEEPAL 03 lineup includes the 705 pure electric version, 515 pure electric version, 1200 extended-range version, and 730 hydrogen fuel cell extended-range version. Similarly, the DEEPAL S7 comes with various powertrain configurations, such as the 620 pure electric version, 520 pure electric version, 200 Max extended-range version, 121 Max extended-range version, and 121 Pro extended-range version.

According to the automaker’s previously disclosed plans, DEEPAL is committed to investing no less than 10% of its annual revenue into R&D for the next three years. This strategy aims to maintain its technological edge and advance electric and intelligent vehicle capabilities. Additionally, DEEPAL will continue building a robust product lineup, focusing on six product series and introducing at least 12 new or upgraded models annually.

In addition, DEEPAL is gearing up for global expansion. The brand plans to push forward with its international strategy, targeting key overseas markets such as the ASEAN and Europe, as it sets its sights on achieving its long-term goal of 1.5 million units of annual vehicle sales.

Furthermore, DEEPAL is enhancing its marketing network. Recently, the brand unveiled the aim of establishing thousands of order centers and tens of thousands of service touchpoints nationwide by 2025.
