Chery EXEED puts new-generation TXL SUV onto market
Beijing (ZXZC)- On July 24, Chery Auto's premium brand, EXEED, officially launched the facelift version of its next-generation midsize SUV, the TXL, featuring four different configurations with prices ranging from 139,900 yuan to 177,900 yuan.

Built on the M3X Mars Architecture Pro platform, the TXL witnessed interior upgrades, including the introduction of the EXEED Yaoguang interior design and a new dual curved display. The vehicle showcases advancements in its intelligent driving system, comfort features, and safety technologies.
While the exterior design adheres to the EXEED original principle, the front end of the new TXL has been subject to targeted adjustments. Although the overall appearance remains largely unchanged, the dimensions have seen modifications, with a length, width, and height of 4,780mm, 1,890mm, and 1,730mm, and a wheelbase reaching 2,800mm. The car's width has increased, achieving the highest height-to-width ratio in its class.

In terms of configurations, the new EXEED TXL comes standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and Chery’s proprietary Lion 5.0 OS. Higher-end variants of the model are expected to offer features such as NAPPA leather seats, a "Queen's seat" for the co-driver, and seat massage functions. The vehicle will also be equipped with premium amenities like the driver's headrest audio system, fragrance system, and air quality monitoring, enhancing the overall sense of luxury.
Under the hood, the new EXEED TXL offers two different powertrain options. Customers can choose between the 1.6TGDI engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (300T model), delivering a maximum output of 148 kW and a peak torque of 300 N·m, or the 2.0TGDI engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission (400T model), generating a maximum output of 192 kW and a peak torque of 400 N·m.
